大家好！我是108号，请允许我先给大家讲个故事 。
在非洲的一片茂密的丛林中，走着四个皮包骨头的男子，他们扛着一只沉重的箱子，在密林里踉踉跄跄地往前走。他们跟随队长进入丛林探险，可是，队长却在任务即将完成时患急病而不幸长眠于林中了。临终前队长把他亲手制作的箱子托付给他们，并十分诚恳地说：“如果你们能把这个箱子送到我的朋友 手里，你们将得到比金子还贵重的东西。”
埋葬了队长之后，他们便扛着箱子上路了。道路越来越难走，他们的力气也越来越小了，但他们仍然鼓着劲往前走着。
终于有一天，绿色的屏障突然拉开，他们历经千辛万苦之后终于走出了丛林，找到了队长的朋友。可是那个朋友却说：“我一无所知啊！”于是，打开箱子一看，竟是一堆无用的木头！
大家想一想，就这么一个故事，粗看起来，队长给他们的只是一箱无用的木头。其实，他却给了他们行动的目的，使他们获得了“比金子还贵重的东西”生命 。从哲学 角度上讲，人不同于其它动物之处，就在于人具有高级思维 能力。所以人不能像其它动物一样浑浑噩噩地活着 ，人的行动必须有明确的目的和奋斗 的目标 。

to choose, to give up
a poet leads me to a branch road: on one se, there are lots of sweet apples, lovely and charming; on the other, there is a patch of thorn, what hes behind the succeof struggling against the thorn is a splend palace. i dee* know that if i choose the apples, i will give up a precious opportunity of becoming a queen; while if i choose to challenge, i have to say farewell to the apples. which one should i choose?
just like the branch road, we have to make a lot of choices during our lifetime. it is usually consered that we are choosing what to gain, to own, but in my opinion, we are just choosing to give up.
choosing to be a teacher means giving up the life as rich as a busineman;
choosing to be a top student means giving up much leisure time in front of the tv.
sure, it’s a torture, but we must judge carefully what is more important, then give up the others. don’t think of them any more, just focus all your spirit on what you are doing.
i myself, who is standing here, have already chosen to challenge in such a great competition, so i have to give up ten days of normal es in school and relaxation without pressure. but i am still pleased, because giving up properly makes me stick to my choice.

The Thanksgiving tradition of compassion and humility dates back to the earliest days of our society. And through the years, our deepest gratitude has often been inspired by the most difficult times. Almost four centuries ago, the pilgrims set aside time to thank God after suffering through a bitter winter. George Washington held Thanksgiving during a trying stay at Valley Forge. And President Lincoln revived the Thanksgiving tradition in the midst of a civil war.
The past year has brought many challenges to our nation, and Americans have met every one with energy, optimism and faith. After lifting our economy from a recession, manufacturers and entrepreneurs are creating jobs again. Volunteers from across the country came together to help hurricane victims rebuild. And when the children of Beslan, Russia suffered a brutal terrorist attack, the world saw Americas generous heart in an outpouring of compassion and relief.
The greatest challenges of our time have come to the men and women who protect our nation. Were fortunate to have dedicated firefighters and police officers to keep our streets safe. Were grateful for the homeland security and intelligence personnel who spend long hours on faithful watch. And we give thanks to the men and women of our military who are serving with courage and skill, and making our entire nation proud.

Maybe you cant realize the importance of friendship at this stage as most of you didnt experience much about the outside world. Your friends actually is a platform for you to release your both good and bad emotion away at a regular interval. So, never underestimate the importance and power of friendship!

这个故事生动地印证了巴尔扎克的一句名言：单独一个人可能灭亡，两个人在一起可能获救。当然，是指两个人合作起来共同创造生命的奇迹，但如果像上面那两个人一样你敲你的锣，我唱我的戏，最终也只能落个双败的结局。

有这样一个故事：很久以前，有个小和尚，想学会理发来帮寺庙的和尚剃发。于是他就开始用冬瓜练习，只是每次打水洗冬瓜时总要顺手把剃刀插到冬瓜上。没多久就学会了如何剃发,当他第一次帮人剃发，去打水洗头时，“顺手”把剃刀插了上去。结果可想而知，小和尚成了*犯。
究竟是什么给小和尚的一片好心带来害人害已的结果呢?
答案很简单。就是因为他用冬瓜作练习时养成了把剃刀插向冬瓜的习惯，尽管为自己的师兄剃发时心里想着这是人不是冬瓜，但手却不听使唤，习惯性地把刀插了上去，因此，是那个小小的坏习惯害了他。
虽然这个故事有几分夸张，我们也不可能会是一个为别人理发的小和尚。可是同学们，你们有没有类似的坏习惯呢?比如：随地吐痰、随意骂人、说脏话、随手乱扔乱撂、经常大声喧哗、在楼道里追逐打闹、自习课上说话等，如果有，它们迟早会给你带来或大或小的麻烦。
这个故事再一次告诫我们：坏的习惯一旦养成，即使是很小的，也不容易改掉，最终会给自己和他人带来危害。

And now our goverment is trying to solve this problem, and some relevent policies will come into force very soon.We could expect a bright future for our environment.
Second, much more advanced technologies will be used, which will provide us much more convinence. After 50 years, we will have our own robots help us with the housework, and the life will become easier and more comfortable. When you are free, you could fly to the moon for vacation or fly rockets to the moon. Everything is possible.
Last but not the least, I"d like to say that we could predict the future, and I believe with our continuous efforts, all of our dreams will come true one day. Do you agree with me?

我和爸爸妈妈去了美丽的海南岛旅行。我们来到大街上，满街的人都说当地的话。找人问路，人家很费劲的讲了半天，我们一句也没听懂。我说：“妈妈，我们还在国内，怎么就跟在外国一样?”“因为他们讲的是南方话，如果他们讲普通话你就听懂了。”妈妈说。
我体会到只有大力推广普通话，才能消除各名族和各地区之间的语言障碍，促进各地区和各名族之间的沟通和交流。我们才能更好的.和外国人交往，还能学到外国的许多技术。只有这样，才能更好的发展我们的国家，使我们的人名都能早日过上幸福美好的小康生活。

it’s a very intresting topic today.
i think my dad was a hero for me when i was a young child. we"d go fishing, walks, and other fun things for a kid.
every child has a good and great father, and so do i. my dad played a very important role in my daily life`````exactly speaking, in my past 16 years.
my father always stands in the center of my life， from past till now and possibly in the future.
my family was rather poor when i was in my childhood. we didn"t have our own house and had to live in a shabby， small room rented from my father"s factory. the room was so small that there was little space for people to walk. i didn"t have my own bed and had to sleep with my parents. this is terrible both for my parents and me.
but father made this all different!he works very hard on his own business, now we have our own 2 housese,surly,i have my own room.and he take our family so much happiness, richer and richer.
when i was little, i did everything with my dad. you could always find me sitting on his knee or walking and doing everything with him. every night he would read me a bed time story and make the voices of each character.
i learnt a lot from my daddy. i learnt to never take things to seriously and to always smile.
