今天是元旦佳节，我们小队准备了好多礼物，去看望福利院的小朋友，跟他们一起度过新年的第一天。上午，我们怀着好奇的心情，在爸爸、妈妈和老师的带领下，走进了福利院。福利院里的小朋友都是没有爸爸、妈妈的孤儿，大的十几岁，小的只有三岁，他们对我们的到来非常高兴。我们围成一个圈，就进行了互动节目，有的唱歌，有的跳舞，有的表演武术，有的"朗诵诗歌，还有的表演走模特步……我们玩得可开心了，福利院里的小朋友们个个脸上笑开了花。此刻，我多么希望他们能永远像现在这么开心、快乐。表演完节目，同学们把新年礼物一一送到每个小朋友手里。我觉得我们送出的不仅仅是一份份礼物，更是一份份爱心、关心。
Today is new year"s day. Our team has prepared many gifts to visit the children in the welfare home and spend the first day of the new year with them. In the morning, we walked into the welfare home with curiosity under the guidance of our father, mother and teacher. The children in the welfare home are orphans without parents. The older ones are teenagers and the younger ones are only three years old. They are very happy with our arrival. In a circle, we have interactive programs, some singing, some dancing, some performing martial arts, some reciting poetry, and some performing models We had a good time. All the children in the welfare home were smiling. At this moment, how I hope they can always be as happy and happy as they are now. After the performance, the students sent the New Year gifts to each child. I think what we give is not only a gift, but also a love and care.

When it was time to leave, the children in the welfare home were reluctant to say goodbye to us. Walking on the way home, my heart can"t be calm for a long time. Day after day, people are busy with their work and study. It seems to us that everyday is commonplace. However, I will never forget one day which really is embedded in my mind ever after.
A lovely spring day, I had finished a whole day’s study, riding back home. Suddenly, I found I couldn’t ride easily and felt exceedingly tired at that time. So, I got off and took a look at my bike. It was something wrong with my bicycle’s tyre, it had been punctured by a small nail. What was worse, I was frustrated by that there was no money in my pocket for I couldn’t repair it.
Walking along the street, I was extremely excited because a repairman on the roadside was fixing the bike. But, I was bewildered as soon as I thought of no money. Surprisingly, the man found me and asked me to come to him. I said to him:” I’ m sorry that I have no money to repair the bike.” “It doesn’t matter!” he replied bluntly. After a few minutes, my bike was repaired well by him without pay.
I wanted to give the money back with my gratitude. Unfortunately, I couldn’t found him any longer. Although I don’t remember what the exact date of that day, this litter matter was really unforgettable in my heart as well as the smile on the repairman’s face. I tasted the love and care in the whole society, moreover, being a helpful and warm hearted people is much more necessary for everybody in the world.

Something interesting happened this summer.
On my way home from my shopping, I noticed a fire. I called the fire department immediately. In a few minutes, the fire fighters came and started work. But, it was not easy to put out the fire, because there was not enough water. In addition, the wind was high, which made the situation worse. The fire fighters were doing their best. But, all of a sudden, a foreign lady rushed to the fire fighters for help. She was talking quickly in English and made lots of gestures to show the fire fighters what was happening. But, the fire fighters could not understand what she was saying. They tried to call the fire station for an interpeter. But, the lady started crying. I waved to her and asked her what had happened. She was very excited to see someone speaking her language. She told me her baby was in her bedroom on the second floor. I told the fire fighters right away and they sent one man there by a high ladder. Her baby was rescued and the lady gave me a big hug.
I felt excited because I made use of my English learnt from my school.
